One Web Day on September 22

One of my favorite days of the year is almost here -- One Web Day (full disclosure, I am on the board.)  One Web Day celebrates all of the wonderful aspects of the Web, particularly its role in connecting people to one another and fostering activism around the world.  Its creator, Susan Crawford, likes to call it "Earth Day for the Web."

You can find a host of activities happening around the globe on September 22 as part of the celebration. You can also find ideas and tools for creating your own Web Day event and live video streaming it or sharing photos of it on Flickr afterwards. C'mon, let's celebrate the Web!
